New bid opening date The new Bid Opening Date is now scheduled for July 30, 2012. RESPONSE TO VENDOR’S QUESTION Question: What is the projected monthly recycleables tonnages are from the City service areas that are currently serviced by Streets and Sanitation, including the projected volume increase from the proposed expansion areas in 2012/2013? Answer: A. AVERAGE TONNAGE: The current average tonnage is approximately 2336.8 tons per month from our two (City- collected) service areas, and we average about 420 tons at 37 drop-off locations. An estimate tonnage of the projected volume can not be provided, the timeline for expansion to additional households in both service areas remains undetermined at this time.
