This Addendum is issued for the purpose of modifying and/or clarifying the original drawings and specifications and shall take precedence over them.

All work included herein shall be in accordance with the original drawings and specifications except as specifically noted herein. All incidental items required to provide the following modifications shall be included even though not specifically described.

This Addendum is being sent to all bidders receiving plans and specifications. Receipt of this Addendum shall be noted on Proposal Form in appropriate locations. GENERAL

1. Sealed Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., April 16, 2019.

2. Non Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting Agenda and Sign-In sheets are issued as part of this Addendum.

3. GC Intent to Bid forms received to date are issued as part of this Addendum.

4. Successful contractor will work with the College to determine the amount of parking spaces that will be needed for construction worker parking and staging material lay down.

CLARIFICATIONS

1. Marker and Tack boards are to be provided by contractor.

2. All mirrors are to be framed mirrors.

3. Plastic laminate colors will be selected from manufacturer’s standard colors.

4. Delete all reference to Solid Surface window sills.

5. Republic door frames will be an acceptable manufacturer of hollow metal door frames.

A. General Contractor bids shall be submitted in one single lump sum category entitled General Construction which shall include all portions of the work. Proposals shall be made on unaltered copies of Proposal Forms as herein enclosed, furnished by the Architect. The Bidder shall fill in all blank spaces and the proposal shall be signed by a legal officer or agent who is authorized to bind the bidder to a contract.

B. The Contractor(s) are wholly responsible for any and all costs associated with assembling and submitting a bid and assembly of information and participating in a Post Bid Interview.

1.3 TIME AND PLACE OF BID RECEPTION

1.5 PRE-BID MEETING

1.6 A Non Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. EDT, April 1, 2019 at Mid Michigan College, 1375 South Clare Ave. Harrison, Michigan. The Pre-Bid Meeting is not mandatory, but attendance is strongly encouraged. The meeting will be held in the old Bookstore on the second floor, west end, of the Main Building.

1.7 OWNER'S RIGHT TO REJECT PROPOSALS A. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

The Owner reserves the right to contract within sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to allow a Bidder to withdraw their bid within 24 hours of bid opening. Bidders cannot withdraw their bid without the written consent of the Owner. Enforcement of the Bid Bond will be at the sole discretion of the Owner, the Owner reserves the right to exercise the Bid Bond or not if a Bidder is allowed to withdraw their bid. If the Owner elects to not exercise their option on the Bid Bond they will do so in writing to the Bidder.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part or accept any proposals in whole or part, including scope and pricing clarifications made during the Post Bid Interview process that, in the opinion of the Owner, will serve its best interest.

1.8 REFERENCES HEREIN A. Participation in this project is open to both genders regardless of ethnicity or orientation/identification. The use of

the pronoun he/his throughout this document is to be considered interchangeable for either gender.
