Additive Experiment
Group (#14) members: Farisha, Jasmin, Krista, Vivian
Crop: Sorghum Weed 1: Canola
Weed 2: Rye Grass
Introduction• Additive experiment• Crop: Sorghum
Weed 1: CanolaWeed 2: Rye Grass
• 3 replicates for each given density (0, 10, 15, 20…) of weed seeds, crop density remained at 10 seeds per pot
• Watered the pots 3 times per week• Observations made throughout the experiment
Germination begins:• each pot is
marked with the replicate number and treatment level
• shoots appear
End of experiment
• cut all the shoots and counted the number of plants and weighed the plants per pot
Observations
loopers, spiders, fungus…
