Muy + an adjective can be expressed in another way by adding the correct form of -ísimo to the adjective. The -ísimo ending conveys the idea of "extremely."
Ejemplo:
un chico muy guapo
un chico guap= ísimo
-ísimo e -ísimaTo write an adjective with a form of –ísimo or –ísima, you must drop the vowel in the adjective ending: –o or –a OR –e. If it ends in a consonant, you do not drop the last letter in the adjective.

Adjectives that end in –co or –ca have a spelling change to –qu. The –o or –a is dropped.
