In episode 3 Brooke leaves for cheerleading and Peyton comes in epi-
sode 4 ready to dance with her snooty attitude. The dancing divas’
group dance called “Born to Dance” fails to proceed when Abby finds
out that Brooke will not be attending the competition. But when the
dance moms slap some sense into Abby, the dance is back on. They
will not be dancing under Abby Lee Dance Company; they will instead
be under Gia, their dance instructor. Now that Brooke made the cheer
team she will not be a part of the Abby Lee Dance Company team.
Now let’s talk about Peyton with her smart mouth. First of all, Peyton
should be honored that she has the lead part as the bully in the group
dance. Then she has to go and let her thoughts fly when she says she dances better than everyone.

Are you ready for the fattest facts
ever? Get ready to be wowed. Every
day, 1 in 4 Americans go to a fast
food restaurant. Today, America
spends over 110 billion dollars a year
on fast food. You would have to walk
for seven hours straight to burn off a
coke and a Big Mac. I don’t think it’s
worth eating one of those if you have
to walk that long. In the U.S. we eat
more than 1,000,000 animals an hour.
That is just gross. In the U.S., 60% of
Americans are obese, or overweight.
Only seven items on the menu in
McDonalds contain no sugar. Willard
Scott was the first Ronald McDonald-he
was fired for being too fat. Eating fast
food can be dangerous to your health.
I’ll be back next week for some more
awesome fun facts.

Today our topic is Kyrie Irving. Kyrie was
born on March 23rd, 1992 in Melbourne, Vic-
toria, Australia. Mr. Irving committed a
crime by going to Duke (because Blakeub is
a UNC fan and hates Duke). Mr. Kyrie hurt
his foot in a game and was out till the NCAA
tournament. He only played 8 games the
whole season, but he played in the NCAA
tournament. After his freshmen season, he
committed to the NBA Draft. He was se-
lected first overall by the Cleveland Cava-

season, including winning the MVP in the

As you may know 4th Grade is collecting can tabs to make money for Ronald McDonald
house. We went down to ask a few questions. We started at Mrs. Clark’s room and
found out they started collecting in October. They need a lot of tabs because for each
pound its 34 cents. So far they have about 20,000 can tabs which are equal to about
$12.00. Students in Mrs. Clark’s class had the idea to start this project but Mr. Evans
class is pitching in. This leads us to his class. Mr. Evans class started collecting a few
weeks ago. It raises money which is all they told us. The Ronald McDonald house is a
place for families to stay when their children are long term in children’s hospital. Bring
in your can tabs and help raise money for this great cause!

ASHELY’S SCHOOL STORY By Kaylee, Sydney and special guest Colin
Everyone is so excited because… it is the last day before Christmas break!! We have the Holiday Party and Christmas
Activities. I can’t wait till Santa Claus comes!
Here’s my list:
Coach® Purse
An IPhone®
A Quad
A Facebook account
A cotton candy machine
A popcorn machine
That’s pretty much it. Since the last time I talked about school, we changed seats. I now sit by my best friends, Sydney, Sam-
uel, and Callan. They are really annoying but Sydney and I are getting used to it. Well, Christmas is finally here! I woke up on
Christmas and found that under the tree were… socks. Ten lousy pairs of socks. I was so mad at Santa! Then, I found some
presents behind the tree. I got an IPhone®, a purse, but a not Coach® one, and a laptop with the Facebook account on the
screen ready to set up. I was so excited to add all my new friends on Facebook. But, I’m dreading to go back to school in a
couple days. Well, got to go to my family’s house. Bye.

Did you ever want to learn more about Bruno Mars? I did! After researching him he was very interesting and
some facts made me surprised. First off, Bruno was born on October 8, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His birth name is
Peter Gene Hernandez. Bruno or Peter is a singer and a songwriter. Mars plays the drums, guitar, keyboard, bass,
piano, and harmonica. Bruno’s favorite singers are Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. The nickname Bruno came
from when he was a baby. It came from baby times because he was so confident, independent, really strong-willed,
and a little Brute. The nickname “Bruno” got stuck and became his name. Bruno Mars attended Roosevelt High
School. After a few years in high school he formed a band. Bruno turned out to be a song-writer in there band and
then became famous after song writing in 2000. Then he met Philip Lawrence who agreed to help Bruno compose
material. His number one hit was “Nothing on You”. I guess you could say Bruno Mars became an “instant star”
after his first song. It did take him 10 years (earlier than some) but right when they brought him into the studio they
just knew he was amazing.

Mr. Bechtold loves teaching students how to make different kinds of art! It is
the perfect job for him. Art class is where all the other subjects come together.

solve problems. He has been teaching for five years. Mr. Bechtold went to
the University of Pitt. Over the past four years he has taught a variety of
different grades. He has taught Kindergarten, Third, and Fourth grade. He
taught for a year at Falk Laboratory School in a combined Third and Fourth

beta fish this week, have a
nice day!
By: Keely
Behold the Beta Fish! The Beta Fish is common fish
that can be purchased in any common pet store. Beta Fish
are easy to take care of all you have to do is feed them and
clean their bowl weekly. There is only one rule you should
follow when taking care of a Beta Fish, NEVER EVER NEVER
put two beta fish in the same bowl the only time you can do
this is when you have a special bowl. Why? There’s a good
chance one will disappear the next day. Beta Fish are very
territorial. Their nick name is the Chinese fighting fish.

The Bellora family opened the race track in 1983 and has been open ever
since. Steel city is located just outside of Pittsburgh in Delmont, Pennsylvania.
Steel City became a part of the international motocross map in 1987 when it
hosted a round of 125cc United States grand prix of motocross championship
tour the next year. They hold quad races and dirt bike races there every year.
Some of the events they have there are the Lucas Oil AMA pro motocross cham-
pionship, Loretta Lynn’s AMA amateur national regional and qualifiers, AMA
ATV, quad, pro motocross championship, and PAMX regional series. I went to
the Lucas Oil AMA pro motocross championship last year and it was so exciting.
The race track looked hard to me. In conclusion, steel city raceway is really cool
and it gives a lot of memories to racers there.

The guard took tinker to a town called Riverside. The guard thought Tinker
was a spy so he took him to the king’s palace until they found out what to do with him.
“What is your name, spy?” the King said. “I’m not a spy!” Said Tinker. “Then why
were you walking around in the forest?” The guard said. “I just appeared there.”
“What do you mean?” The King said. “I just woke up in the forest.” “Well we don’t
really know who you are so you can sleep down in the basement.” As Tinker was walk-
ing down to the basement he said “Where am I?”

Hey it’s Josh and have you ever thought of those questions that you just couldn’t find the answer
too. Well then here is some philosophy that will have you rattling your brain for days. If they say
Cinderella’s slipper fit so perfectly then why did it fall off? If a tomato is a fruit then isn’t ketchup
a smoothie? If Domino’s uses real cheese then what were they using before? How can the world
end in 2012 if my yogurt expires in 2013? It can never be opposite day because if it is then it isn’t.
Is your mind exploding with awesomeness yet well don’t worry I will give you a break till next

This week I’m doing a report on the United States Men’s goalie…..Tim Howard.
His full name is Timothy Matthew Howard. He was born on March 6, 1979. His
birth location was in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is an astonishing 6 ft 3in. He
plays on the club team Everton as a goalie also. His number on both, Everton and the
U.S team is 24. I don’t know why he wouldn’t, but Howard decided to reject Man-
chester United. They offered him an amazing 4 MILLION DOLLARS! If anybody
were to offer me 4 million dollars to play on a soccer team, I would take the offer in
a heartbeat. But, on February 14th, 2007 reporters announced that Howard was offi-
cially a player on the Everton team. The team gave him around 3 million dollars.
That is a heck of a lot to offer to a player.

By: Zach and Heather The Pssa’s are finally over! Everyone we know wanted the Pssa’s to end. They were not as hard this year. You start the Pssa’s in 3rd grade and end in 12th grade. 6th grade had 3 sections of math and 3 sections of reading. In reading we had at least 1 open ended per section. In math we had at least 1 as well but had 3 parts on each one. In conclusion the Pssa’s aren’t very fun but if you work hard you will get a great grade.

Hanarr rolled out of the way. The saber cat hit the tree and was stunned. He looked at it and
said, “I could use that for the soul for the god.” So he got all of his strength, stood up, and tried
to drag the saber cat. About thirty minutes later he was almost there but the saber cat was regain-
ing conciseness so Hanarr picked up the pace. He reached the temple and drug the limp saber cat
on the Circle of sacrifice. “Wonderful, I was not expecting a saber cat though” said the voice.
“Thank you for accepting its soul” he said. “NOW GO, GET OUT OF MY TEMPLE MORTAL”
Hanarr quickly ran out of the temple in a hurry he was very confused, he was supposed to go to
the temple of heroes for his ceremony. BUT WAS IT A TRAP! No one was there and it did not
look like the temple was supposed to…..

being. Payton began his football career in Mississippi, and went on to have an outstanding collegiate
football career at Jackson State University where he was an All-American. He started his professional
career with the Bears in 1975, who selected him as the 1975 Draft’s fourth overall pick. Payton pro-
