WhitGoal 1- Create the structures and pathways that allow for true trans-disciplinary learning (not isolated to a specific faculty member or group of teachers, not serendipitous, not a major culminating event– part of the LS fabric)

Goal 2- Developing a stronger leadership team who better understands and implements best practice as it relates to the art and science of leadership

Goal 3- Develop better skills personally around coherent leadership– figuring out the right drivers and frameworks for more action-oriented leadership (preventing: initiative overload, fragmentation, splintered acts, reactive decisions, etc.)

DANETTE’S GOAL IDEAS• Build leadership capacity - inspire/ facilitate

vertical development for leaders in the MS division

• Build my own capacity to build capacity (requires both vertical and horizontal development)

• Develop and support the structures for high quality cross-disciplinary collaboration - both academic and social-emotional.

• Continue work on Student Support Services

I.Deepen the level of personal connection and commitment each faculty member feels toward the school and its mission – clarity of roles and expectations; leadership development of various teams; identify/support high potentials

II.Investigate/experiment with structures to support cross curricular and cross divisional collaboration

Goals FY17 Ops Team Team - Will be ‘wildly successful’ when operations are executing at a high level, and talent and resources can be identified for trade-offs

Goal for Wendy: aid transition of a leadership team that will enhance Westminster’s strategic position.

HR - Maximize human capital recruitment and management to employ leaders/influencers.

Facilities – Manage teams to protect and renew campus

Enterprise Services & Programs - Evaluate based on ability to ‘amplify and fit’ school’s ‘brand.

Finance - Dashboard accurate timely info. for decision-making.

Special Projects - Identify resources that can be reallocated; educate school constituencies of responsibility for accurate and immediate collection of data.

• Collaborate with Jim to successfully complete the SAIS accreditation process this year.

• Collaborate with Leadership Team members to “push out” a leadership curriculum to our faculty and staff.

• Network with Westminster (& Drew) academic leaders to effectively implement CFT programs that are central to L4L, the school’s vision and mission, and our funders.

• Partner with Westminster (& Drew) faculty to assist or facilitate in the development of best teaching practices.

and help that light shine• Continue to create an

insurmountable competitive advantage and an atmosphere of “wholesome intensity”

• Stay focused on the present but, at the same time, get prepared for a new transition in my life
