Bass has re-completed the w e l l i n the Delaware formation (undesignated Southeast Quahada Ridge-Delaware Pool) and Bone Spring formation (Undesignated Los Medanos-Delaware Pool). The Delaware and Bone Spring zones are both developed on statewide 4 0 acre spacing.

(a) The e n t i r e Delaware i n t e r v a l i s i n the SW%NW% of Section 36, so Bass requests t h a t q u a r t e r - q u a r t e r s e c t i o n be the w e l l u n i t i n the Delaware. See E x h i b i t C.
(b) The Bone Spring i n t e r v a l i n the wellbore i s i n both the SW NW i and SE NWK of Section 36. However, the p e r f o r a t e d i n t e r v a l i s the 2nd Bone Spring Carbonate. Mr. Adams of Bass has informed me t h a t the top p e r f o r a t i o n i s at approximately 1498 f e e t FNL and 1687 f e e t FWL. Thus, the e n t i r e p e r f o r a t e d i n t e r v a l i s i n the SE%NW% of Section 36, which should be the w e l l u n i t . See E x h i b i t D.
The d i r e c t i o n a l survey f o r the w e l l was p r e v i o u s l y f i l e d w i t h the D i v i s i o n , and can be obtained from the D i v i s i o n ' s o n l i n e records.

I have spoken to Mr.. Adams concerning this matter yesterday and we went over your letter to Bass Enterprises. We discussed, in part, item (1) of your letter and I concur with Mr.. Adams the geological tops and the footages from the lease line of each respective geological tops. For more information, please refer to the well file API# 30-015-23377. The inside of the "well file" shows where I picked the geological tops after initial review of the electric logs.
