General Principles (Constitution)

1 All activities of the state shall be based onand limited by law. [see also: art. 36]2 State activities must be conducted in thepublic interest and be proportionate to theends sought.3 State institutions and private persons shallact in good faith.4 The Confederation and the Cantons shallrespect international law.
