Reading Activity – parts 1 and 2

You must choose three different ‘adopt an animal’ sites from the list in our Global Citizen Wiki.

Find out as much information as you can about these sites by reading the front pages, the ‘FAQ’ pages, and the ‘About Us’ pages.

You need to:a. Take notes for each site.b. Present a comparison of the 3 sites (how they are

different and similar) in a short article (minimum 10 lines). Make sure your article is organised and that you ‘back up’ the points you make with evidence and explanation.

c. Answer this question in detail: which site do you think is the best for us to use and why?

Read all the information about the site you’ve chosen and then write an article explaining how we go about adopting an animal from this organisation.

Make sure you include:- The name and web address of the organisation- A detailed explanation of how we do it- An explanation of how we know we can trust them- Some examplesYour article should be well organised and clear for us

to understand. You should be able to answer all our questions about the site you’ve chosen to research.
