UNDER THE AUSPICES OF INVITATION LETTER
The “Great Innovations in Cardiology and Advances in Cardiovascular Arrhythmias” deals with the newest development in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases. In this XXVII edition we are proud to show the key role of our town in the field of the artificial heart (VAD) development, thanks to a pioneer researcher: ing. Roberto Bosco. In particular during the two days, Symposium will delve especially into ACS, sudden death and the future of pacing. A whole session will be focused on TAVI and MITRACLIP procedures and another one will be focused on atrial fibrillation management presenting the most innovative therapies and techniques.A special session will be dedicated to the use of antiplatelet therapy in different clinical sets of patients. Also for the incoming edition, there will be space for Luncheon sessions. These sessions will deal with new oral anticoagulant therapy with particular attention to the benefits and the social cost; teaching sessions to select the most appropriate population for the most advanced interventional therapies such as absorbable stents, TAVI, MITRACLIPS, …A particular attention will be for gender and aging in cardiovascular disease. A session will be dedicated to physical activity and cardiac death. The Symposium gathers some of the greatest Italian and Foreign Experts together who surely give prominence and success to this Symposium, furthermore the deep cooperation between Città della Salute e della Scienza Hospital in Turin and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester allows the presence of the most eminent Opinion Leaders that will share their own working experience. All the sessions have the purpose to inform participants about new diagnostic and therapeutic advances in Cardiology.
