Fast Load Acceptance - Capability to take Step Load
Load Step Capabilities.- Superior load step capabilities, allowing for optimal operation even when isolated from the utility or in stand-alone mode- The quick-loading characteristics, typically found only in diesel engines, avoid the time-consuming task of slow and gradual loading- Loading capabilities with more than 50% load steps on rich-burn engines
Typical loading capabilities operating in island mode - rich-burns unique capability:

Fuel Flexibility
Capability to run on Variable Quality Field Gas and Low methane number
Waukesha rich-burn engines operate with a wide margin for both knock and misfire, allowing a high tolerance for fuel composition. At lower NOx levels, lean-burn engines operate in an increasingly narrow window, limiting fuel flexibility and making them more sensitive to site conditions.

Better Fuel Efficiency
• Lower Fuel Consumption than Traditional Rich Burn
• As NOx approaches 0.5 g/BHP-hr and below, Waukesha rich-burn engines can operate more cost effectively than competing lean-burn engines, since fuel consumption for lean burn engines increases and efficiency decreases as combustion deteriorates due to the high amount of excess air used to lower NOx

Low Emissions across Varying Applications
Rich-burn engines with a 3-way catalyst (NSCR) that provide a scalable emission solution with the lowest overall emissions in the market.

Advanced Monitoring & Diagnostics
Proven ESM control system-Dramatically reduces on-site setup time and requirements. -Single, closed-loop control system integrating all engine functionality-Starting and loading the engine takes only a few minutes-Once running, an HMI panel provides an easy-to-read display of engine operating parameters-ESM integrates air-fuel ratio, spark timing control, speed governing, industry leading individual cylinder knock detection, start-stop logic, diagnostic tools and fault logging-The patented ESM system also manages speed and load control and provides E-Help solution management software to pinpoint system alerts
The Result. Maximum Uptime. Complete Engine Protection.
ESM: an easy-to-use total engine management system that optimizes engine performance and maximizes uptime
