Idea 1 :

Advertising a new tack shop opening. Selling bridles,saddles, grooming kits, rugs. Slogan : 'Horsey Paradise at a reasonable price'

Would film at my local yard and use film the tack room in there. Close ups of the saddles and bridles, before filming another person riding along in some gleaming tack or brushing their horse with a brand new brush.

I didn't have any real advert to use as an example.

Idea 2:

Advert for horse feed. Selling all different types of horse food from pony nuts to chaff. Would once again film down my local yard. Slogan: "It's good enough for even you to eat"

I would film close ups of different horses eating from their buckets, before showing a extreme close up of something running the pellets though their fingers. A voice over would talk about the nututional value of the food and he effects it will have for their horses well being and performance .

The advert idea I took was from Dodson and Horrell which is advertised on horse and country TV. It shows how the feed is made and the vital nurtional value.

Idea 3

Advertising Show jumps Slogan: 'You can't knock em' down. Film in area.

Advert would have background music which would work with clips of horses jumping different size fences. There will be a flash to a clip of a horse knocking a fence down. A voice over will start talking about if you what to keep putting fences up all the time. The there will be. Clear clip of a horse clearing a fence with ease. E voice over will then talk about the jumps, that are impossible to knock down.

An advert that inspired me were Jump 4 Joy. These jumps are a leading manufacturer with a 5yr guarantee.

Opinion

I choose to create an advert for my A2 final piece, just as the choice just did not interest me at all. For my final piece I wanted to create something that was challenging but also very fun to create, and I did not feel that I would get to challenge myself with creating an type of advert.
