GoodAdvertisements
Pepsi A TV advertisement which features
Beyonce, Britney Spears, Pink and Enrique Iglesias. This ad has to be one of the best ads ever made, not because of the personalities involved nor the song used alone, but the chemistry that the two has made, which can make everybody bang their heads with every beat and a possible LSS to every hopeful singers .
VISA Two of the greatest Chinese figures, Yao
Ming and Jackie Chan together. The ad alone will make the audience think that it has something to do with China and with Chan and Yao, there’s no one that who won’t be convinced to watch the Beijing Olympics, whether a sports fan or a movie fan. Chan’s popularity is a plus, making fun of Yao’s 229cm frame.
Susu A Finnish TV commercial in 2012. I
personally don’t understand most of it but it effectively delivers its message, in which the product exists back n 1975 and is still on sale. The music doesn’t sound that good but it just fits the setting. This is just some of the ads who does not include sexy scenes for the message to be understood by the viewers.
Not-so GoodAdvertisements
Axe Apollo The story was good and the act by the
firefighter was truly heroic, until the astronaut enters the picture and the girl was attracted to him. I cannot see the relationship of the Astronaut to the fire that it happening and the worse is, the girl totally shifted her attention away from the one who saved her life .. And there’s even no use of the perfume in the scene.
Biolink I feel pity for my friends who were dark-
skinned whose parents are white. Their parents must be a little ashamed of them when they were born. They should have made this as a sequential ad, showing that the baby is growing up and is using the soap which makes the skin same as his/her parents. A taste of racial discrimination, maybe.
Rejoice A commercial in China. It may be good to
their eyes but play that on air in the Philippines, it will be a trending topic and an automatic removal of advertisement on air. Philippine media does not tolerate malicious acts such as this commercial for it will be seen by children. They should have think of another way of showing everybody how smooth the girl’s hair is but not by touching “that” part.
