Available in three sizes
Our cassette-sized flat panel detector is available in three sizes: 17x17”, 14x17” and 10x12” allowing you to choose the most suitable solution for your
diagnostic applications. All detectors are made in Japan and have a proven reliability and a favorable total cost of ownership for your medical facility.
High DQE, lower dose
Our CsI scintillator technology, combined with the latest low noise read-
out integrated circuitry, delivers an excellent DQE (Detective Quantum
Efficiency). This makes AeroDR effective in reducing exposure dose.
Not only that, but AeroDR delivers exceptional dynamic range perfor-
mance. Enabling accurate skin line definition, for example, in the radiog-
raphy of shoulder joints.

Three sizes
Works with your existing equipment
The AeroDR detector is the same size as an
ISO 4090 compliant film cassette, so it will fit
any existing wall-stand or table bucky tray.
No need to replace your table or X-ray tube
to convert from analogue to direct digital.
Roaming
Can be shared between X-ray rooms
Konica Minolta’s shared FPD (Flat Panel Detector) solution means that
one AeroDR panel can be used across multiple X-ray rooms and mobile
X-ray units that are equipped with their own CS-7 console.
Multifunctional console CS-7
Our CS-7 work station doesn’t just control the AeroDR detectors. It also operates all current Konica Minolta CR readers and even X-ray generators*. So there’s no need to use the X-ray console to adjust exposure parameters.
More control
2 second preview via smart GUI display
In less than 2 seconds after exposure, a preview image pops up on the console display. That’s fast! What’s more, our user-friendly graphical inter-
face is configurable, enabling you to set it up exactly how you like it.
Easy workflow. Reliable technology.
Fully charged in only 30 minutes
Apart from a long life expectancy, our new generation battery technology has a long operating
time of approximately 200 images per 5.5 hours. Recharging is impressively quick, from empty
to full in only 30 minutes. And in an emergency, the battery can regain enough charge to process
at least 10 images in just 3 minutes.
* Please contact your Konica Minolta sales representative for more detailsregarding connections between X-ray generators and CS-7.
Power-saving technology and safety for your patients
To improve patient safety, Konica Minolta has sourced the world’s newest battery technology for
the AeroDR panel. Our unique low power consuming panel design combined with a lithium ion
capacitor ensures long battery life and quick recharging.
Lithium ion capacitors don’t overheat unlike conventional lithium ion batteries.
You don’t have to replace a battery
Conventional batteries need to be changed after about a year. Our new lithium ion capacitors
last as long as the panel. Which means there is no need for exchanging the battery. Which in turn
allows you to spend more time with your patients.

Light weight. Durable.
Light weight flat panel detector
At only 2.9 kg*, AeroDR 14x17” can easily be carried around. This,
combined with its wireless capability, makes it flexible, giving
radiographers considerably more freedom in how they choose to
work.
* 17x17” = 3.6 kg, 10x12” = 1.7 kg
Incredibly strong monocoque construction
Since the battery doesn’t need to be replaced, the case never
needs to be opened. As a result, we’ve been able to build it from
tough carbon fibre using a rigid monocoque design. Ensuring
trouble-free operation even when subjected to substantial load or
shock.
Astonishingly, the AeroDR has a maximum patient load of 300 kg.
Sealed and protected scintillator
Konica Minolta produces its own CsI scintillator and has created
a more efficient design. This double glass design provides a three-
fold benefit:
it enhances the load-bearing performance
it prevents the scintillator edge from being deformed by
everyday knocks and bumps
it protects the TFT sensor panel from breakage
