Machine BaseSingle Piece, Extra Rigid DesignThe LS series CNC lathes from L&L Machinery are designed from the ground up for ID / OD boring. The extra heavy machine single piece Meehanite machine bed easily handles the stresses of heavy boring. Our machine structure is heat treated and stress relieved with a Rockwell hardness of HRC 52±2 to absorb vibration whilst maintaining rigidity.

Besides reducing the Abbe error, drifting and shu�ing, the design of the LS-C center screw drive with box way slide can achieve high precision disc type ID and OD and boring requirements.

Solid Box Type SlideExcellent rigidity and stress capacity of box way provides great stability when boring.

LS-S/U Side Screw DriveFor ID/ OD, deep hole drilling, and multi-tool work, the LS-S/U side screw drive and box way can have di�erent turret and boring head con�gurations.Double V Box Way Design

Powerful & Durable Headstock StructureBesides the box way structure, the headstock structure of the LS series is designed for high rigidity, durability, and convenience. With our meticulous design, the diameter of the spindle can be increased from 153mm up to 540mm.

CMM EquipmentCMM is used to ensure unparalleled precision.

Integrated HeadstockThe headstock is annealed to improve the stability of the material, and to provide stability during deep hole drilling.

CrMo Spindle - HRC 50Superb Design All of our machines are built to last. We use the best SCM-435-440 chromium molybdenum steel material for our spindles, coupled with excellent gear design and a powerful hydraulic braking system. This preserves the transmission system and ensures that there is no wear and tear when the spindle is running down.

Dynamic Balanced ComponentsMotor - Pulley - SpindleAll L&L precision lathes are tuned for ultimate performance through dynamic balance testing. We test all three of the key components, the motor, the pulley and the spindle to ensure that together, they deliver the performance our customers need. This is key to delivering the very best surface �nish and quiet operation.

Optimal Selection of Components3D CMM equipment is used to measure the spindle, precision gears, and bearing accuracy in order to achieve the highest precision.
