THIS JOURNAL SHOULD BE CITED AS (2019) 1 AJCCLThe Africa Journal of Comparative Constitutional Law publishes contri-butions on constitutional law issues that focus on or are relevant to Africa and the developing world. Publications that focus on constitutional law issues in other regions will still be considered for publication if they have comparative value to the theory and practice of constitutional law in Africa and the developing world. The Journal is published once in a year, in November.
Articles submitted for publication should not have been previously published. Articles should be between 8,000 and 16,000 words (including footnotes), while reviews of cases and books should not be more than 3,000 words. They should be typed in Times New Roman, at 12 point (footnotes 10 point) font size and with 1.5 line spacing. Articles should be in conformity with the citation style prescribed in the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). The 2006 edition of OSCOLA has citation guidelines for international instruments (such as treaties and resolutions adopted under the United Nations) while the 2012 version is an updated guide for other authorities (such as books, book chapters and journals).
Submitted articles should have an abstract of not more than 250 words and should also include a short professional profile of the author(s). They should be submitted by email in MS Word format to the Editorial Board: [email protected]
