“after the exam”
“In the seventeenth century imagination and intellect drifted apart, leading ultimately to their divorce.”

Fluid Mechanics“The goal is to design and fabricate a device to visualise the flow of a viscous fluid by having a fixed quantity of said fluid (preferably water) partially bounded by a container made of a transparent material that incorporates a movable wall which sets in motion the fluid by shearing forces. The fluid flow is constrained by the container, thus enabling experimentation with at least the following parameters:
i) viscosity of fluid,
ii) magnitude of shearing forces, and
iii) geometric characteristics of the container.
The above framework is purposely kept very general so as to accommodate and model a broad range of vastly different possible realities and real-life problems. One specific example is…”

“Indeed, you have a good qualitative assessment of their practical understanding of some theoretical concepts through this kind of hands-on design exercises/projects.”
