The Egyptian market is the fastest growing automotive market in the Middle East and North Africa. Consumer and commercial cars on the road are expected to rise rapidly in 2018, with expansion plans to boost annual production to 500,000 units by 2020.

The total volume of Egyptian exports in the auto feeding industries is estimated to exceed US$500 million a year. Egypt hosts 17 international companies assembling and producing their vehicles locally.

Leading international brands are actively producing domestically and Egypt's geographic location makes it an ideal export hub for MENA and Europe.

The automotive aftermarket in the Middle East and North Africa is estimated to be worth US$12 billion annually. Government policies are encouraging the expansion & modernization of workshops and service stations which presents an incredible opportunity for suppliers in this sector.

From the 26 million vehicles in the Arab region, 7.2 million reside in Egypt, which equates to more than a quarter of all cars on the road in Arab countries.

Over 80 companies in the automotive feeding sector operate in Egypt. 600,000 cars are produced in Egypt annually. and the Egyptian government is planning on doubling car production by 2025 to accommodate the growing population which is expected to exceed 100 million by 2020.
