apply for graduation in HOWDY in the My Record tab. Please apply for
graduation as soon as possible so we can make sure you are meeting all of your

Council is a great way to get involved in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and make a difference in the lives of students. The PR team is responsible for all marketing materials for Explorations, such as flyers and digital signage. This team also has the task of designing the annual journal in both print and the new, interactive, online platform to maximize the impact and expression of published student work. JCPenney Suit Up Event
Sunday, September 8th 6-9pm
The Center for Retailing Studies at Mays Business School has partnered with JCPenney to host a SUIT
UP event (see attached flyer). During this event, all Texas A&M students will receive up to 60% off all
career attire and accessories. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to build up their
professional wardrobe, especially as everyone is preparing for upcoming career fairs and interviews!
JCPenney staff will also offer measurements, salon specials, and professional makeup tips via
Sephora. This event is also open to all Texas A&M faculty and staff! JCPenney will have various
refreshments during the event as well as special “giveaways” taking place throughout the evening.

DEGREE PLANNER—REMINDER
Information for continuing students. All continuing TAMU students must have an
approved degree plan in the degree planner system by September 30, 2019. If you
have never submitted a degree plan or if your degree plan was approved before March
2019, you will need to submit a new degree for approval in order to register for spring
2020 courses. We will be sending out degree planner information soon.
Information for new TAMU students. If you have completed more than 30 hours you
will be required to submit a degree after September 9, 2019. Again, we will be sending
out degree planner information soon.
