Notice for the 16th Annual Meeting of the IFFTI General Council was issued vide IFFTI Secretariat mail dated 18th April, 2013. The meeting will be held at 0930 hours on Tuesday, 28th January, 2014 at Bunka Gakuen University, Japan.

2. Ms.Tina Guglielmino, the Chairperson of the outgoing Executive Committee will convene the new Executive Committee on 27th January, 2014.

3. At the last meeting, it was decided to undertake the following process for election of the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson:-
(a) Secretariat will call for nominations from amongst the Executive Committee members for election to the posts of next Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.
(b) After receiving the nominations, the Secretariat will ask the new Executive Committee Members to vote to elect the new Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson from amongst the nominated members.
(c) The Secretary will table the documents in respect of nominations and voting at the next Executive Committee meeting scheduled to be held at Bunka Gakuen University, Japan on 27th January, 2014. The Executive Committee will ratify the votes received and elect the new Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson.

6. After ratification of votes the new Executive Committee will elected the next Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson at its meeting on 27th January, 2014.

New Membership
At the last meeting it was decided to obtain further clarification from KEA Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, Denmark and Saxion University of Applied Science to decide on type of Membership to be offered to these institutions. The necessary clarifications were received by the Membership Sub-Committees.
2. In addition, application for membership was also received from École Duperré School, France .The same was also review by the Sub-Committee.
3. Ms.Tina Guglielmino will brief the members on the outcome of the review.
4. The Secretariat had also forwarded application forms to Swiss Textile College, Switzerland and Atharva Institute of Management Studies, India. Their responses are awaited.

This year IFFTI will be supporting 2 Senior Faculty, 2 Junior Faculty and 2 PG/ Research Students to present papers at the Bunka Conference.
2. A two-stage review process was undertaken to select the papers for awards. In the first stage, Bunka Gakuen University reviewed the papers and selected 4 papers in Senior Faculty category, 5 papers in Junior Faculty category and 3 in PG/ Research category. Thereafter, IFFTI members selected the final awardees. The details are given below:–
