A day in the life of Claire

1. Pre-visit Planning

Claire is a field sales manager. Before starting her week she performs pre-visit planning to ensure she is fully versed on the planned activities. She is afforded the flexibility of moving appointments around in-day (for route planning optimisation) and can create new ad-hoc visits as appropriate.

This data needs to be instantly relayed back to core business applications for interrogation and real-time decision making.

2. Site Visit

On arriving at the customer, Claire has full access to the customer details. This includes key information on listings, contact persons and historic sales activity-all vital information to maximise the impact of her visit.

On activating the site visit, Claire is presented with a guided multi-step visit activity, as defined by HQ, which she must undertake. This can be made up of “compliance questionnaires, stock checks, competitor information gathering

aswell as sales management activities to be undertaken with the store manager

Through the Customer Fact Sheet Claire is able to access a holistic view of the customer. She can use thisto evaluate service issues (and raise new ones if required), analyse past EPOS data and make peer-to-peer assessments with the store manager against comparative stores.

3. Analysis

The insight captured by Claire is relayed back to the Central Admin team as soon as connectivity is available. This can be used to make live account management decisions about promotions, stockand sales.

Through out-of-the-box analytics against the captured insight, HQ are able to more holistically understand the needs and behaviours of the customer base.
