Arab Emergency Situation Room – Purpose -
An Arab Society Situation Room (Hamal) has been
established with the aim of providing a professional
and unified resource for the treatment of events, risks
and disasters that occur or may occur in Arab society
in all areas.
The purpose of the Hamal is to support local
authorities and to coordinate the connection with the
government.
• Prolonged inequality (in government orientation towards Arab society affairs).
• Need for socially tailored treatment and immediate intervention.
• Arab society is not part of Israel’s crisis management platforms
• Arab society is not included in decision-making platforms in general.
• Time is of the essence.
