Auckland — Control Zone, Mandatory Broadcast Zones and CommonFrequency Zone AmendmentsEffective: 10 NOV 16

The following amendments are prescribed to facilitate the safety of air navigationas a result of the 2014 Auckland Airspace Review.

The boundaries of the Auckland CTR/C (NZA153) are amended. The newalphanumeric code is NZA154.

The boundaries of the Auckland City mandatory broadcast zone (NZB179),Ardmore mandatory broadcast zone (NZB272) and Ardmore common frequencyzone (NZC278) are amended to coincide with the changed boundaries of theAuckland CTR/C.

The new alphanumeric codes are NZB175, NZB274 and NZC279 respectively.

There is a minor change to the northern boundary of Karaka danger area(NZD225). The alphanumeric code remains the same.

The Mount Maunganui general aviation area (NZG271) is disestablished as it willno longer be within controlled airspace.

The Te Puke general aviation area (NZG258) western boundary is amended andthe code is changed to NZG259. The upper limit is raised to 4500 ft, and the lowerlimit is amended to align with controlled airspace boundaries.

The Paeroa Range general aviation area (NZG458) boundaries are all extendedand the code is changed to NZG459.

The Tarawera, East Rotorua mandatory broadcast zone (NZB471) westernboundary is amended to align with the Rotorua control zone boundary amendmentand the code is changed to NZB472.
