• New Airbus delivery record, orders significantly above target

• Airbus maintains position as industry leader :

→Record backlog of 4,682 aircraft valued at US$638 bn

→NEO with 62 % market share

• Endorsement for A350-1000 by leading airlines

• 12,000 order milestone and 9,000 Single Aisle order milestone passed

• 500 Airbus customers and operators

A320 Family: strong market response


• Surpassed 9,000 Single Aisle orders

• 739 net orders, 455 deliveries ( backlog keeps growing)

• 305 CEO sold in 2012 (and 687 since NEO launch).

• Rate 42 - the highest ever rate for any commercial aircraft.

NEO:

• 62 % market share (1,734 vs 1,046 ac)

• 35 % more orders than MAX in 1st year after launch (1,226 vs 914ac)

• NEO development on track (1st P&W engine started ground tests in November)

Sharklets:

• First customer aircraft delivered

• Sharklet-Performance above expectations: 4 % fuel savings


The A330 – an ongoing success story


• 58 net orders for A330/A340 in 2012

• 8 customers placed repeat orders.

• Sold 800 A330s since 787 launch

• New variant for A330 (242t)

with 450nm more range

A330 can do 95% of all 787 missions

• Rate increase to 10 in Q2 2013


It needs an A380 ….


• 30 aircraft delivered (on target)

• The A380 wing rib feet issue is behind us

• The final design will be incorporated

on all A380 deliveries from 2014

• Now 97 ac in service with 9 operators

• Smooth introduction at Thai and MAS.

• 9 new orders (net), 262 orders from 20 customers


A350 – Towards first flight


• 27 new orders (net)

• Big endorsement for the A350-1000 by Cathay and Qatar

Production:

• 1st airframe assembled (Static test aircraft) completed end Oct

Tests to commence in spring 2013

• 2nd aircraft (MSN1 – first to fly) main structural assembly completed

Full power-on achieved in December

• 3rd aircraft (MSN3) assembly to start early 2013

• First flight mid 2013

• First delivery H2 2014


Airbus Military: successful on international scene

• Orders: 32 orders (28 C295 and 4 CN235)

• Deliveries: 29 aircraft

(5 MRTT, 2 C212s, 8 CN235s, 10 C295s, 4 P-3)

• Backlog: 220 aircraft

(174 A400Ms, 17 MRTTs, 5 CN235s, 20 C295s and 4 P-3)



A330 MRTT – The “reference” tanker

• Mature programme

• Good progress in terms of deliveries:

1 Australia (RAAF), 2 UK (FSTA), 2 Saudi Arabia (RSAF)

• Selected by Indian Air Force

Aircraft has won every major procurement competition outside the US since launch



A400M – Preparing for first delivery


• 300 hrs of Function and Reliability tests achieved

• Full Type Certificate from EASA and Initial Operating

Clearance from OCCAR expected in Q1 2013

• First delivery to French Air Force in Q2 2013

• Total delivery of 4 aircraft in 2013

• Today 13 aircraft in production

• Growing fleet: More than 7,500 Airbus aircraft in operation today

Airbus: a solid recruiter

• 2012, Airbus recruited > 5,000 new employees

• 2011 and 2012 together we recruited some 10,000 new employees

• Workforce now 59,000 worldwide

• Trend continues: In 2013 3,000 new recruits worldwide planned



Airbus: Eco-efficient by nature

• Over the last 10 years, air-traffic increase by

50% with only 3% fuel consumption increase

• NEO: -15% fuel compared to CEO

• A350-1000 : -25% fuel compared to the 777

• Innovation and R&T focused on reducing fuel

burn and emissions by 85%

• Full support to EU Commission to negotiate a

global scheme at ICAO.

• A350 XWB: Fly MSN001 mid 2013

• A320 Neo: Ready for Assembly and

Test of the first aircraft

• A380: Secure wing retrofit & linefit

• Supply chain management tightened

Targets for 2013

Orders:

• Commercial: 700 gross sales

• Military: 30 new orders

Deliveries:

• Commercial: at least 600 aircraft deliveries

• Military: at least 28 aircraft deliveries

• A400M: delivery to the French and Turkish Air Forces
