AISG-AIM Antenna Identity Module This Antenna Line Device (ALD) is retrofit mounted permanently onto the GSM/UMTS antenna back and connects to the AISG connector of the RET activator motor. The AIM is automatically detected by the Primary CCU or Node B.  The Primary can read the AIM fields that identify the antenna data. Read-only. During installation relevant antenna data can be burned in the AIM memory using the AIM Field Programmer (AFP), After programming these data fields are READ-ONLY  and thus represent the exact antenna information with no risk of losing integ- rity of the Data. With this module the primary can now identify what type of antenna’s are installed independent from the RET motor. Especially when the Ret motor is upgraded or swapped the Identity of the antenna stays unchanged. AISG-AIM key features: No phisycal site visit required to check the identity of an antenna. Field upgradable to future AAS and CAD specification. Quick and easy installation on antenna.
