Lovely Professional University (LPU) takes pride of being an ultra-modern high-
tech campus sprawling over 600 acres on the Grand Trunk (GT) Road at the entry
of Jalandhar City, Punjab. It is the largest single campus university in India
(including Govt. and Private Sector), with more than 30,000 students from across
the world, 4000 faculty and staff. It offers more than 200 programmes stretching
from under graduate to Doctorate to D.Litt. The University is recognized by the
University Grants Commission and is a member of the Association of Indian
Universities. The university was established in 2005 under The Lovely
Professional University Act, 2005 (Punjab Act 25 of 2005) and started its operation
in 2006
Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is one of the premier institutions of the
Country working for the cause of Higher Education since 1925. The AIU as an Inter
University Board came into existence on the recommendation of the Sadler
Commission in 1919 followed by a resolution, which was made in the
deliberations of a Conference of Vice Chancellors of the Indian Universities
convened in 1924 by Lord Reading, the then Viceroy of India, at Shimla.The main
objective of the AIU is to protect promote the interest of universities and facilitate
university activities especially by way of sharing information and increasing
cooperation in the eld of culture, sports, and allied areas, and help universities in
mutual recognition of degrees.It is the only university association in the world
which organizes student centric activities establishing direct connect with
students.The membership of AIU embraces all types of recognized universities
existing in the Country. At present, 700+ Indian Universities are its members. In
addition to Indian Universities, it has 15 Associate Members, one each from Nepal,
Bhutan, Malaysia and Dubai and 2 universities from Mauritius. The General Body
of the AIU is constituted of Vice Chancellors/Directors of these 700+ Indian
Universities.

Ÿ The topic of the oral presentation is “Higher Education in the era of innovation, entrepreneurship & disruptive technology with a focus on human values in the age of disruption”
Ÿ Each university can send 2 participants, preferably 1 male & 1 female
Ÿ The registration fee of Rs. 500/- will be charged from each participant which will be deposited at the time of registration.
Ÿ If any faculty in charge is accompanying with the participants additional fee of Rs. 500/- will be charged per head.
Ÿ The meal & accommodation arrangements will be from the dinner of 23-08-2018 to breakfast of 26-08-2018.
Ÿ Kindly send your complete entry on attached registration form before 16th of August, 2018.

Ÿ The language of oral presentation should be English or Hindi.
Ÿ Each speaker will be allowed maximum 8 to 10 minutes for oral presentation
Ÿ The mode of the oral presentation can be either extempore or paper reading or through the power point presentation.
Ÿ The abstract of the topic should be sent to email ID.. [email protected] on or before 16th August, 2018. The selected abstract will be published in the souvenir booklet also.
Ÿ The sequence of the presentation will be decided by the draw of lots which will be done during manager & participants meet.
