  • I could never understand what the big deal was about Star Trek until I started watching Deep Space Nine. One of my all time favorite shows! Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DS9) focuses on the 24th century adventures of Captain Benjamin Sisko on space station Deep Space 9, an outpost situated near the mouth of a stable wormhole on the far reaches of explored space.

  • Im not sure if its because I am getting older or because the plots are just not interesting but nowadays I tend to prefer reality shows to any kind of fiction. No I dont mean Jersey Shores, Housewives of some random city or Honey Boo Boo I have so much junk in my house I cant get to the door. I am fascinated by most shows on the discovery and science channels especially if they are concerning space; micro and macro. It was bittersweet to see the end of the space shuttle mission. On the other hand, it is inspiring to see feats such as that accomplished by Felix Baumgartner. Im happy to see that companies like Red Bull are putting some of their earnings towards research and development. Yes I know that there was a lot of publicity involved but necessity is the mother of invention. Today our basic needs are provided for, at least in our country, which leaves us time, energy and resources to reach further, where no man has gone before*! *line from opening of Star Trek movies and episodes

  • Is the Endeavour getting a wash on its way to the California Science Center? No way, all those dings are part of history! I remember when the Challenger blew up. I lived in Florida and was on my way to work and saw a Y in the sky but didnt make much of it until I walked into the office and everyone was freaking out. - Main engines - San Fernando Valley, CA - Heat tiles - Silicon Valley, CA - Fly-by-wire technology - Downey, CA - Assembled - Mojave Desert, CA California Homecoming!
