Welcome to Area Assembly! You are the most important people at the Assembly because you are the only members at the Assembly who have a vote at the business meeting. Your vote connects the members of your group to the worldwide fellowship of Al-Anon and determines the way Al-Anon in Montana functions to help families of alcoholics. You are a trusted servant who relies on guidance from a Higher Power and direction from the group conscious. It is a humbling and empowering experience. All of us on the Area Committee say CONGRATULATIONS on being elected to serve as a GR. Enjoy your term. What is the GR exchange? It is a meeting held at each Assembly to prepare GRs for the Area business meeting and to allow GRs to share information and experience, strength and hope with each other. My name is Carol Sullivan and one of my duties at Alternate Delegate is to chair this meeting. [email protected] 406-261-2744. Please share your thoughts and ideas to help make this exchange meaningful and productive. INFORMATION Found in your 2014-17 Service Manual What is my job as a GR at an Assembly?
