INTRODUCTION

Mayon Volcano or Bulkang Mayon was declared as one of the 10 New Wonders of Nature last October 13, 2008. A stratovolcano was once a perfect cone shaped that has been a popular tourist attraction in the province of Albay, in Bicol region, Southern part of Luzon.

Alamat ng Bulkang Mayon explained how Mayon Volcano got its name.

This book was designed for any level of Tagalog/Filipino learners. The legend was divided into short paragraphs and sentences to explain clearly the meaning of words and phrases. As you noticed, Tagalog/ Filipino words , phrases and sentences do not have exact meaning in English but rather an equivalent just how we say it in Filipino and how you say it in English.

This aimed to introduce its learners and readers to the unique language , and to the beautiful Philippines cultures.
