Off (Me & You)“• "Dance, Dance“• "Thanks for the Memories“ • "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More "Touch Me“ • "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race“• "I Don't Care“• "What a Catch, Donnie“

• Boys like girls with there big hit “the great escape”

• Panic at the Disco with their amazing video “That green gentleman”

• The number one hit from Gym class heroes with “Cupids chokehold”

Mainstream• All the videos related to Alan Ferguson are closely related to artists who are very main stream such

as Fall out boy and Katy Perry. Alan Ferguson doesn't specialise with any one genre as he works with pop artists, Katy Perry and indie bands, Boys like girls, and punk rock, Fall out boy.

• All his videos are very light and vivid and show a vary lively atmosphere by using aspects of a staged performance and adding them into a Narrative. For instants there are many dancers in many of his videos

Alan Fergusons choice of artists to work with

• Alan Ferguson isn't fussy when it comes to artists as he does Narrative type of videos to a variety of artist in many different category's. Recently he has worked with Katy Perry in “Hot n Cold” which is a Narrative as the words correlate with the video. This video was very successful with over 12 million hits wold wide and 35,000 likes.

• He has also worked with Natasha Bedingfield with the song “Pocketful of Sunshine” which was also a Narrative Video with again the lyrics correlating with the video it is also partly a staged performance as there are also lots of dancing and many different clothes involved. The video was also very popular with over 9 million viewings and 30,000 likes.

• A different kind of artist he has recently worked with is Boys like Girls with the song The Great Escape which again is a Narrative. It has just over 6 million hits and just under 12 thousand likes

• One of my favourite artists he has worked with is Panic at the disco with their song “That green Gentleman” which has 8.5 million views and 20 thousand likes. I like this video because its very visually different presenting it self of different eras of a persons life. From the band today, in their twenty's, to becoming kids and then as old pensioners which presents at as very visually entertaining.

Use of camera work• IN the Katy Perry video Alan Ferguson starts

with a mainly close up shots focused on the Groom and Katy Perry switching between them using over the shoulder shots this makes it seem more like a drama show. Then we follow the chase. Here there are lots of editing every time switching on the beat and switching between the dancers and the chase.

• He uses the same technique in most of his videos including fall out boy of which he switches between the band and the dog creating a link between them ,which is he's their dog.

• He also like using a dream factor, for instants fall out boy the videos starts by the dog dreaming, Katy Perry ends with the groom imagining what just happened and panic at the disco he uses a Russian doll, where the band pop out and drop into what seems another world.

Why I like his work

• I like Alan Fergusons work because of visual use of scenery and light to create bright happy surroundings leading to a smiling audience. Like panic at the disco green gentleman.

• I also like his variation in artists he has work with as he is not afraid of working with mainstream artists from many different genres of music.

• One of my favourite music videos take over the breaks over I love the use of the white background as he creates his own ever evolving world as he does with almost all of his videos.
