• 2013 OJ production has been the highest on record; most

plants ran at full capacity.

• It is estimated that FCOJ output was above 130K tons

• Mexico is the largest Organic OJ producer in the world

• Processing capacity has steadily increased during the last 4

years, however, there are no new orange trees being

planted.

• As in the 90’s, consolidation of the industry needs to take

place.

• HLB is drastically impacting Mexican/Key Lime producing areas in

western Mexico, however, it has rapidly spreaded over most of the

citrus growing areas

• No HLB has been detected in the 4 largest Orange growing states

• We have to assess damages from recent storms in all growing

areas

• Hurricane season is not over yet.
