Why are Wessex alcohol metrics important?

• Understand the impact alcohol has on our communities

• Provide a platform to measure changes

• Identify and address any gaps

• Implement an evidence based “life course approach” to addressing the harms of alcohol

• Identify the scope for further alcohol research & evaluation of initiatives
