ALCOM ®  LB enables the grouping of separate light sources in a very conned space. For the same energy output, efciency is increased and luminescence is improved with no leakage into adjacent chambers. With ALCOM ®  LB (Light Blocking) you can contain your light source in conned spaces. In control and functional lighting for example, ALCOM ®  LB enables the grouping of many separate light sources in very small spaces. Special compound formulations thereby combine high opacity and reection levels with extremely thin wall thicknesses – irrespective of the base polymer. Therefore, when applied, the efciency is increased with the same energy consumption and the lighting power signicantly improved. Every light chamber provides optimum light output without leaking into other chambers. High thermal stability, low warpage and balanced mechanical properties make ALCOM ®  LB the ideal material for every design-orientated application. With our special light laboratory for the development and testing of sop histicated ALCOM ®  Lighting solutions, we satisfy even the highest demands of our customers.
