Attention of all officers is invited to Public Notice No. 25/ 2013 dt 04.07.2013 on theabove subject. The following courier companies are authorised to clear the courierconsignments at Bangalore International Airport.

2.. Keeping in view the time sensitiveness of courier consignments, the department
endeavours to clear them at the earliest. However, in respect of some consignments,
due to non availability of complete information queries are raised to solicit the
additional information to complete the assessment. The query is conveyed to the
authorised courier who has filed the Bill of Entry for clearance. The authorised courier
responds to the query and the assessment is completed thereafter.
In the interest of transparency and greater trade facilitation, it has been decided
that the information in respect of queries raised would be made available in public
domain, on a real time basis. Accordingly, the information on queries raised is
required to be uploaded on the Customs website. The AC/DC in-charge of the Courier
Cell would he responsible for getting the information uploaded on the website without
delay. The access details to the new link created on the website
www.bangalorecustoms.gov.in have been made available to the officers concerned.
Officers and Staff should note the above instructions for strict compliance.
5. Difficulties, if any, in implementation of the above instructions may be brought
to the notice of this office immediately.
