Welcome to Alice in Abstraction, an illustrated take on the eccentic characters

of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Several different versions of the story we

kept in mind while coming up with attributes for each character, these attributes

inspired the seven abstract illustrations. Though intriguing on their own, the

illustrations are meant to be viewed all together in order to interact with one

another in the eye of the viewer, just as the characters would in the movie or

the book. You are incouraged to wander around and in between the walls of

the exhibit o experience different levels of interaction. If you appraoch one of

the walls you can readabout the inspiration behind the illustration below each

wall. These will give you an idea of how Carroll’s character’s personalities are

demonstrated in each work.
