True Self atGaleria Melissa

Inspired by Aura photoraphy, tarot cards and horoscopes, this photobooth reveals a portrait of the user’s True Self. A physical print reveals a unique haze of colour and 3D shapes while a cosmic message relays your inner desires.

Nike: London on Air I was asked by Nike UK to teach a series of interactive design workshops for 18-25 year olds as part of their Air Max Anniversary celebrations in 2017. The workshops taught participants how to create their own stitched game controllers using conductive thread, a custom-made circuit board and a Makey Makey microcontroller.

Nike: London on Air A 2D platformer (developed in Unity) that tracks the history of the Air Max through the ages since its first appearance in 1987. Originally designed to be played by participants of the London On Air 2017 workshops when testing out their game controllers. Play the game here

Shy Poster This poster is shy, and will become closed off if you approach it. The project was exhibited at Hotel Droogin Amsterdam in December 2015. Project completed in collaboration with Trapped In Suburbia (NL). Video here

Stitch This interactive cross stitch activity introduces those who are unfamiliar with technology to the Internet. By connecting to an-on screen lesson, the object becomes a controller that advances the tutorial as each stitch is made, bridging the gap between analog and digital processes. Video here

Technical Instructor in Mechatronics and Physical Computing, The Royal College of Art (London)- Established a Hackspace workshop within the School of Fine Art (Battersea).- Provided technical support and education in areas of digital fabrication and physical computing.

Instructor of Physical Computing at the School of Machines, Making and Make-Believe (Berlin)- Planned and executed a 2-week physical computing intensive.- Taught Arduino, electronics and interactive design in the context of physical and mechanical games.

Visiting lecturer in Illustration (BA) and 3D (Foundation Studies), Kingston University (London)- Brief writing, lecturing, tutorials and support with physical computing projects.
