DIGESTION RATES!

• Liquids should be consumed 10 minutes BEFORE a meal or 60 minutes after.• Eat fruit BEFORE cooked foods, see digestion rates below.• Concentrated Proteins (nuts and seeds) and Starchy Carbs should NOT be eaten together.• Eat one nut or seed per meal.• Cold liquids and cold foods slows digestion down.• Thoroughly chew your food (about 20 bites), to maximize absorption.• Always sprout nuts, seeds, chickpeas and grains or buy sprouted. Soak overnight at the very least.

EXCELLENT TIPS FOR OPTIMAL DIGESTION & MAXIMIUM MINERAL AND NUTRIENT ABSORPTION!!

• If proper food combing is NOT followed, gas, bloating, fermentation, discomforts, fungus &yeast overgrowth, indigestion & reflux can occur.

• Healing requires energy, and so does digestion;so eat light and simple when reversing illness and disease.

• Give thanks to your body and food before intake.• Wait 3-4 hours to eat fruit, AFTER eating cooked

foods.• For acid reflux & heartburn, avoid high fats, limes

and cooked tomatoes until the gut is healed.

THINGS TO KNOW!!!*The least amount of water = thelonger to digest

There are exceptions to the guidelines; however this is an excellent starting point, proven to yield remarkable results!

*Unstrained Milks: 2-3 hours

*GF digests faster

This guide and all my resources will be updated as needed.

After suffering from a host of medical challenges, I developed the desire to learn, about the link between diet and disease.

I discovered the T. Colin Campbell Plant Based Nutrition Certificate Program at eCornell, and immediately enrolled! Afterwards, I took my curiosity a step further, by going to school; earning the title of Certified Holistic Nutritionist. In addition, I spent a copious amount of time, studying Biomineralization and Cellular Nutrition from Alfredo Bowman, known today as Dr. Sebi.

Between the revolutionary institutions I attended, and the remarkable trailblazers I met along with way, it was evident that there is a direct link between diet and disease. And this link was proven time after time, from clinical and scientific evidence.

I created Rymy Remedies LLC to offer Nutrition Education along with my personal journey, with the hopes of inspiring others to heal.
