ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must present the following:

1. Online application

2. Application addendum

3. $25 application fee

4. Official high school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores

(Students 21 or older are not required to provide ACT/SAT scores, but a Math or English assessment may be required.)

5. Official transcripts from ALL previously attended colleges and universities

6. Immunization records

General Admission Requirements:

• Minimum GPA of 2.4 and minimum composite ACT score of 21 (SAT of 990)

- Admissions Committee

• Minimum GED score of 50 on the paper test or 500 on the computerized test and minimum composite ACT score of 21 (SAT of 990)

Transfer Students● Meet general requirements● If you have completed 30 or more college credit hours, ACT/SAT score and high school

transcript NOT required● Coursework 10+ years old will not be factored into GPA calculation

Dual Enrollment● Completion of sophomore year of high school● Minimum 3.2 grade point average● Completion of Dual Enrollment Application with your guidance counselor’s signature● Official high school transcripts● All courses must be approved by the Dean of the School of Arts & Science

Home School Students● Meet general requirements● Official transcript from your home school agency

FINANCIAL AIDFast Facts:

- 100% of eligible students who apply receive some form of financial aid

- Aquinas College offers a variety of different academic scholarships and special program awards

- Aquinas College accepts the HOPE scholarship

- Federal, State, and Private Aid are available to students who complete the FAFSA

Applying for Financial Aid:

1) Complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov by February 15th to be considered for federal and state aid (a FAFSA is not required for merit based or endowed scholarships)

2) List Code 003477 - the FAFSA form requests school codes for your college choices. Be sure to list Aquinas College as your first choice to avoid delays in processing your file.

3) Complete the Aquinas College Scholarship Application prior to February 15th

Aquinas College offers many institutional and endowed scholarships!!

The most prestigious are the President's Scholarship and the Vice President’s Scholarship:

President’s - ACT 28 / SAT 1260 (Reading & Math) and a minimum 3.5 GPA Award: 100% tuition

Vice President’s - ACT 25 / SAT 1140 (Reading & Math), and a minimum 3.2 GPA Award: 50% tuition

**Three letters of recommendation and a personal interview are required for both of these scholarships
