All Aluminum Conductor, BareConstructionAluminum alloy 1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded.
SpecificationsMeets or exceeds the following ASTM specifications:
B-230 Aluminum Wire, 1350-H19 for Electrical PurposesB-231 Aluminum Conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded
ApplicationsClasses* AA and A are used primarily for overhead transmission and primary and secondary distribution where ampacity must be maintained and a lighter conductor (compared to ACSR) is desired, when conductor strength is not a critical factor. Classes B and C are used primarily as bus,
••
apparatus connectors and jumpers where additional flexibility is required.
*Classes refer to stranding and are an indication of relative conductor flexibility, AA being the least flexible, C the most flexible.

Aluminum Conductor, Steel ReinforcedConstructionAluminum alloy 1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded about a steel core. Core wire for ACSR is available with class A, B or C galvanizing; "aluminized" aluminum coated (AZ); or aluminum-clad (AW). Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the complete cable with grease.
SpecificationsMeets or exceeds the following ASTM specifications:
B-230 Aluminum Wire, 1350-H19 for Electrical PurposesB-231 Aluminum Conductors, Concentric-Lay-StrandedB-232 Aluminum Conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded, Coated Steel Reinforced for ACSRB-341 Aluminum-Coated Steel Core Wire for ACSR/AZB-498 Zinc-Coated Steel Core Wire for ACSRB-802 Zinc-5% Aluminum-Mischmetal Alloy-Coated Steel Core Wire for ACSR
ApplicationsUsed as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. ACSR offers optimal strength for line design. Variable steel core stranding enables desired strength to be achieved without sacrificing ampacity.

15kV Primary UD CableConstructionThe phase conductor is concentrically stranded, compressed soft copper or 1350-H16/26 aluminum alloy. The cable is composed of the conductor, cov-ered by a semi-conducting XLP strand shield, a tree-retardant XLP primary insulation and a semi-conducting XLP insulation shield. Conductors are available with either 100% or 133% insulation levels. A concentric neutral of bare copper wires is applied over the insulation shield.

Type W Portable Power Cable 90°C, 2kVConstructionManufactured with rope-lay stranded, bunched members, annealed copper conductors. A polyester or paper tape separates the copper conductors from the EP rubber insula-tion. The insulated conductors are assembled round with fillers as needed. The cable is covered with a black CPE rubber jacket. The jacket may be applied in two layers. Two-layer jackets are reinforced by a braid of synthetic material. The reinforcing is between the layers.
SpecificationsConductors are manufactured in accordance with ASTM B-33 and B-172Made in accordance with ICEA S-75-381 - Portable and Power Feeder Cables for Use in Mines and Similar LocationsMSHA accepted, P-7K-123049 LR27151UL Listed as Type RHH-RHW-2 per UL 44CSA ApprovedMeets FT-5 Flame Test
ApplicationsFor use in mining machines, locomotives, power supply leads on A.C. welders, motor leads, entertainment, generator leads and grounding cable at continuous conductor temperature of 90°C. Type W cables also are suitable for continuous immersion in shallow water. Excellent flexibility, resistance to oils, solvents, ozone, aging, and abrasion.
