Head Coach Robert Vlahakis, Shoreham Wading River High School (NY)With 22 years of experience Coach Vlahakis has won 134 games with only 15 losses in womens’ lacrosse. Robert has led his team to three NY state championships, four Long Island championships, and six Suffolk county championships. He has been honored as Long Island Coach of the Year two times while being named Suffolk Coach of the Year five times. Coach Vlahakis recently coached at Colorado State in 2008, and has also coached soccer. This season he coached S.W.R. to a 20-1 record and its thrid straight State title.

Head Coach Chris Sweet, Duxbury High School (Mass.)Coach Sweet of Ithaca, NY has led Duxbury HS (Massachusetts) to eight straight league titles, and seven of the last eight division 1 state championships, including six in a row. Coach Sweet has amassed nearly 250 career wins, including a 99-game winning streak against Massachusetts’ high school teams, which was snapped this season by St. John’s Prep. Duxbury got the last laugh, as the Dragons beat the Eagles in the championship. Completing his 11th season, Chris has coached 21 HS All-Americans and has been named Boston Globe Coach of the Year. As a player Chris was a two-time All-American at SUNY Farmingdale and a two-time All-American at Ithaca College.

Head Coach Kevin Giblin, Georgetown Prep (MD)Finished his 21st season at Georgetown Prep, leading his team to 20-3 record and the IAC title. Kevin has compiled an impressive record of 335-70 (83%) including six IAC titles in 1993, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2009. Coach Giblin has been a part of numerous other teams including, assistant for the 2008 USA U-19 Gold medal team, the Maryland Free State team in 2005, as well as the Under Armour All-American DC Underclass coach in 2006. A 12 time honoree of Coach of the Year, Kevin has lead Georgetown Prep to a National ranking of #1 in 2003 and 2006. As a player Kevin was captain at Washington College, leading his team to two NCAA championship games. Coach Giblin was inducted into the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame-Potomac Chapter and the Georgetown Prep Athletic Hall of Fame, both in 2007. Over 135 players have gone on to have collegiate careers under Coach Giblin, including 26 HS All-Americans.
