RULES / REGULATIONS

ENTRY ENTRIES FOR ONLY ACCEPTANCE LIST CAN BE SENT THROUGH E-MAIL. For

sign-in to Main draw & Qualifying, Entries will not be accepted through

mob / telephone / e-mail. It is mandatory to come and sign – in at the

venue(Patliputra Tennis Center). Parents & Players are requested to co-

operate. BLTA / The organisers will in no way be responsible for the sign in

taken by private agency. Entry of correct AITA no. is the responsibility of

the player participating.

AGE ELIGIBILITY

1/1/2007 – 31/12/2012

MATCH FORMATS Singles Qualifying Rounds: Best of 17 Games Final Qualifying Round: Best

of three tie break sets (Deuce 2 points) Main Draw Matches: Best of 3 Tie

Break sets with Deuce 2 pts. Doubles Size of Draw will be of 16 pairs First

two sets would be normal Tie-Breaker Sets with No Advantage scoring i.e.

Deuce 1 Point. A 10 Point Match Tie Break will be played in lieu of the Final

Set. Acceptance List will be made from the AITA Rankings by adding the

Ranking of each of the players in the pair. The sign in for doubles shall close

on Monday at 12:00 noon. NO LET rule in service will be in place. It means

if the service hits the top of the net and falls in the correct service box the

point will continue.

ENTRY FEE Singles – Rs. 400, Doubles – Rs. 400 PER PAIR

AITA Registration Card It is mandatory for the player to carry ORIGINAL REGISTRATION

CARD for the sign-in. In case the player registration is in process

with AITA, In that case player has to carry Original receipt or

copy of mail from AITA confirming that player registration is in

process.

PARTICIPATION ELGIBILITY TO

TS TOURNAMENTS

TS TOURNAMENTS WILL BE OPEN TO PLAYERS FROM THE ZONE WHERE

THEY ARE REGISTERED. NO PLAYER CAN PLAY A TOURNAMENT FROM

ANOTHER ZONE. EAST ZONE: Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand,

Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and

Nagaland.

RESTRICTION OF AITA TOP 150 AITA ranked players in their respective age groups will NOT be

permitted to take part in TS tournaments in that age group. This ranking

available on AITA website on those dates)
