BANK DEPOSIT If you deposited some money at the bank in January to the KAS account please contact Jodie as there was no reference name attached. PICKING UP PREKINDY CHILDREN AND SCHOOL STUDENTS If you are one of those people who needs to pick up both PreKindy students and primary students please ensure that you are not in the PreKindy carpark for more than 5 minutes. An option is picking up the PreKindy and going back to the car and joining the roundabout to pick up your Primary students. Alternatively, you could pick up your children between 3:20PM and 3:30PM when the pick up area is a lot less congested. CAR PARK Thank you for your patience and assistance with the drop offs and pick ups while the front area of the church is closed due to rain. With continued patience and practice it is hoped that this process will speed up. Do not feel bad if you are not at school until 3:25PM. That is ok. Your children are fine. It just means you won’t wait in the queue as long. CAR PARK SPEED A reminder for those who are tempted to put their foot down on the beautiful new bitumen on our car park, the speed limit is 10 km/h!!! We have many highly treasured little people on our campus and their safety is our highest priority. Register now for Vacation Care. JEWELLERY Just a reminder of the jewellery expectations at KAS. “The wearing of jewellery at school is discouraged for health and safety reasons. Students are permitted to wear a wrist watch. Earrings must be limited to a maximum of one small, discreet, plain gold or silver ear stud in a single lobe, or alternatively one in each lobe. No visible body piercings, such as, but not limited to, nose, lip, tongue or eyebrow are permitted. This includes all clear plastic or similar piercings. Students are not permitted to cover such piercing with bandaids, medical plaster or any other such material. Likewise, visible tattoos are also prohibited. Sunglasses, if worn, may only be worn outdoors.“ PHOTOS OF STUDENTS From time to time we use photos of your students in various places, eg. Newsletter, Facebook, newspaper articles, etc. We do not publish student names with their photos. If you do not wish your child’s photo to be published please write a letter to the principal, Mr Deanshaw, requesting your child’s photo not be used. SCHOOL BANKING School banking is coming to KAS! Watch this space for more details! KOORONG KIDS Your primary child will bring home a Koorong Kids catalogue in the next week or two. You are welcome to place an order. Just send the money and order in to the school office and we will process it for you. They need to be in at the school by Friday 21 March. CALENDARS Each student has been given a KAS calendar for 2014. If you require more copies, they are available from the school office at the cost of $2.
