Faceted Results

Serials Display in PAC – Your Way
► Brief and Full Results Display – Can configure the results display separately for serials and monographic titles; each branch can select and order the display elements.
At the system level, you can create custom display elements and edit existing ones. The display shown here includes the 310 tag (Currently Published) and a customized 515 tag (Numbering). The display order, labels and white space were also customized using the same Administration tools.

Serials Display in PAC – Your Way
► Serials Availability Display – New Notes View in the Serial Holdings Record workform that allows for up to 4,000 characters and includes line breaks for the PAC display.
Specify whether to display textual holdings notes from the serial holdings record, and whether to display the notes when the patron hovers over the pushpin icon, or to display the text immediately.

A Merger Is Announced!
► Results from a search on both remote Z39.50 databases and the local catalog are now displayed in a merged list. To select remote databases for searching, users click on the Select Databases link.

Search results list first displays results from the local catalog, if selected, and the user can click Add Pending Results to add more results to the list. As results are added, the user can click Search Status to see the progress.
