• The position of 92U is for youth (18 to 21) who want to be registered and are students. Same requirements as 91U.

Special Info for 2016

• Venturing crews and Sea Scout ships: when a Venturer or a Sea Scout turns 18, they must fill out an adult volunteer leader application. They will still be registered as a youth member in your crew or ship. For those youth who have turned 18 since your last charter renewal, indicate them as a youth member, but they will need to turn in an adult application with your unit charter renewal.

• Each year, a Charter Partner Agreement is signed by the head of your chartering organization. Your district executive will meet with your charter partner and will ensure that this form is completed.

A Helpful Tutorial is Available

• In the next slides, you will be given information on resources for help. One of those resources is a link to a tutorial that was created several years ago by our national office. The process is the same as it was when it was originally prepared, BUT, the fees have changed since then. Our slides which will follow are screen shots of the tutorial, but we corrected the fees that they have shown in the tutorial.

• Again, to be clear, fees to be charged for registrations are $24 per person, Boys’ Life subscriptions are $12 per person, and the charter fee is $40 each year.

Members added will display with a person ID.

If an adult or youth record was entered online and then is added through Update unit roster the processor will know which record to remove by selecting the record with no person ID displayed.
