Journalism

Any pupil in S5 and S6 who would be interested in a three-day Journalism course at Glasgow’s Mitchell Library should contact Mr Brogan for details. A sneaky peek at what you may be involved in: •  learn key reporting skills from established media and journalism professionals •  gain the opportunity to participate in news reporting of the Commonwealth games.

Top Up candidates have permission to attend this visit on Friday. You have received your permission slip and you must return this ASAP.

Friday: 1.Register with tutor teacher2.Report to the Assembly Hall at 9am SHARP3.Coaches will depart school at 9.10am4.Coaches will depart Glasgow University at 2.20pm

You do not need to wear school uniform on Friday.

Pupils who do not attend without a valid reason, cannot receive a full a full Top-Up Programme Profile and cannot, therefore, have their performance on Top Up taken into account when applying to higher education institutions.
