Service Offering
Shared Platform
Dedicated Platform
The WAN service can be delivered on shared or
dedicated platforms.
Using advanced shared hub platforms, Alldean is
delivering shared platform services in Africa and
beyond. The star or mesh topology is employed in the
implementation of this service. All VSATs from remote
sites are connected to Alldean's hub in Nairobi. The hub
is in turn connected to the customer's HQ via terrestrial
backhaul links. Our hub in Nairobi has fiber and
microwave termination points from various providers in
Kenya. The service is mainly used for delivery of
internet, VOIP and banking solutions such as ATM
networks.
Using advanced SCPC technology from leading
manufacturers, Alldean provides Point to Point and Point
to Multipoint solutions to connect customer's sites. The
dedicated platforms are used to deliver high end
network solutions for operations such as SCADA
networks, high speed banking networks and other
similar networks.
Alldean offers new service packages to support a range
of network applications serving the following sectors:
Including banks and ATM networks, hotels, production
and manufacturing industries, points of sale, gas stations,
convenience stores, agriculture and video surveillance.
In the 21st century, Government and its associated
institutions require an effective, secured and reliable
means of communication.
Using Alldean's satellite communications solutions,
International NGO's, can now have easy access to the
Internet as well as other telecommunications services at
remote project sites where relief and development
operations are carried out.

Broadcast Solutions
The service allows TV and radio stations to terminate
their signal anywhere in East Africa. All links are
transmitted from Alldean's Earth Stations in East Africa.
From the Earth Station the signal is compressed to
MPEG standard and broadcast via an advanced uplink
facility.
The signal is received by receive-only dishes with a
TVRO LNB and a professional decoder. The high quality
digital signal can then be distributed locally at each
station using VHF/UHF transmitters. Alldean has installed
receive-only dishes in many locations for its customers
throughout East Africa.
As no capital investment in a satellite earth station and
signal distribution equipment is required from the
customer, Alldean saves you time and money and leaves
you to deal with your core business.
Service Offering
Using advanced MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 technologies, Alldean is providing integrated Broadcast services that allow
you to distribute your TV and radio channels anywhere across Kenya and East Africa at a cost-effective price. Our
service is designed for broadcasters who wish to extend their reach beyond local transmission to any point in East
Africa. For an affordable, cost effective signal distribution solution for your TV or radio station, we have the right
solution for you.
The monthly service charge includes bandwidth,
uplink services and 24x7 help desk support. Our
customer's satellite uplinked signals are monitored
from our Network Operation Center (NOC) situated
in Nairobi, Kenya. Alldean's NOC is a state of the art
facility equipped with world class network
management systems, advanced satellite platforms
for delivering data, broadcast, VOIP and video
solutions and secure data center hosting facility. The
NOC is fully manned 24x7 by a highly trained

GSM Solutions
As the mobile phone rapidly penetrates the African
market and becomes part and parcel of the African
culture and lifestyle, more and more mobile service
operators are setting up networks in remote rural
regions of Africa. In order to overcome the
challenges of difficult terrains and the remoteness of
their target market, operators are using satellite as
their preferred technology for backhaul due to its
ease of deployment, maintenance and its high
reliability among other advantages that satellite
services offer over other terrestrial solutions in
remote areas.
Alldean has over the years deployed reliable VSAT
networks for mobile service operators in East Africa.
Our experienced satellite communications specialists
provide a full design of the network including the
required link budgets, equipment, system integration
and space segment.
For cost effective Point to Point, Point to Multipoint or
managed hub solutions for larger networks including
optimization of those networks, Alldean has the right
solution for you.

Business Continuity
Your organization's data is a key element of your
business and the loss or inaccessibility of that data can
have serious repercussions for your business. With this in
mind, and in line with Alldean's tradition of delivering
solutions, we have invested in a highly secure state of the
art Disaster Recovery and Co-location center (DRC).
Organizations use our DRC to host their data center
and other critical servers. Connectivity between the
DRC hosted servers and other servers can be done
through terrestrial and VSAT links which are available at
Alldean.
We understand that your data network plays a critical
role in the running and success of your business and that
you require continuous connectivity and redundancy on
your network. Alldean therefore offers reliable network
redundancy solutions on VSAT and terrestrial networks
packaged at an affordable cost.
To add value and have greater return on your
investment, Alldean's network redundancy solutions can
be designed to incorporate delivery of VOIP, video
conferencing and digital signage solutions which have in
the recent past become a major component of the
communication strategy of successful organizations.
