WELL TESTING OPERATIONS

INTRODUCTION

1985 - ALMANSOORI SPECIALIZED ENGINEERING and BAKER PRODUCTION SERVICES formed a joint venture. The blend of the combined expertize made BAKER ALMANSOORI PRODUCTION SERVICES a leader in the Oil & Gas industry.

1991 The company was renamed as ALMANSOORI PRODUCTION SERVICES (MPS) with MSE acquiring the interest of its partner making it 100% owned.

Since 2003, we have been extensively involved in Well Testing in Extreme H2S Environments operating in different parts of the MENA region.

The system manages effluents returning from the Well Bore. The Effluents passes through the Double Block Choke Manifold, through the Heat Exchanger (if required) after which Acid is Neutralized during acid flow back passing through the FWKO, Water is separated from the Condensate & Gas and transferred to the High Pressure Storage Tanks while Condensate & Gas pass over the second stage separation.

Inhibited diesel can be injected down the anulus and flowed back to surface to eliminate Sulphur deposition.

Liquids and Gases are separated, measured and transferred to Burner Skid (Condensate) and the 60 ft Flare Stack (Gas) to be Burnt/Flared using Green Head Technology that eliminate smoke and reduce environmental impact.

Produced Water will be Neutralized, Sweetened and Transferred to the Pressurized Storage Tanks. Prior transferring the water to Client Waste Tanks, the water will be re-treated via circulation loops to ensure gas free liquid.

PRODUCED WATER TREATMENT (300-25,000 BPD)

HI-FLOW MEDIA: Hi-Flow polymeric media removes free oil & grease from water by merging of oil droplets through contact. The Buoyancy of droplets increases as size increases and the droplets rise to water surface faster.

HI-FLOW ELEMENTS: Hi-Flow elements are

oriented in vessels so that the fluid flows up the central core and permeates through the polymeric media to the outside circumference of the elements.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT


A Data Acquisition System (DAS) is a device(s) designed to measure and log Field measures and parameters. The data acquisition system is normally electronics based, and it is made of Hardware and Software. At MPS, our hardware part of DAS system is based on wireless sensors that communicate with a Data Logger (receiver) which in turn passes collected data to a computer over a USB cable. The SOFTWARE part is made of the Data Acquisition logic and the analysis software. We use the FEKETE-Field Notes analysis software that collects and analyses the data using AGA-3 / AGA-8 calculation standards. The Software is capable of producing a complete Well Testing Report with data, graphs and event logs.
