Ingredients
Almond Garlic Green Beans
1 can green beans, or equal quantity fresh*Fresh crushed garlic to tasteSliced or slivered almondsOlive oilSalt (optional)
*French sliced green beans work well, too,but have a di�erent presentation- more “mushy”
Method
1. Saute green beans in small amount of olive oil.2. Crush fresh garlic over pan. I use about 6 cloves for one can of string beans.3. Stir gently to combine and saute about 3-5 more minutes.4. Add sliced or slivered almonds. Use a generous amount for a satisfying crunch.5. If desired, add salt. �is is usually not necessary for canned green beans. Keep in
mind that the garlic adds a lot of �avor. If using salted nuts, you certainly should not add more salt.
