Mary-Frances Stuff was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Growing up she

enjoyed competing on her local and high school swim team, cheerleading,having fun with friends and family,

participating in clubs such as Best Buddies, teaching

swim lessons and lifeguard-ing. While she was writing The Alphabet March she

was attending Indiana Uni-versity where she studied

elementary education. She has always loved to read and is very excited for the

opportunity to share her love of reading and teaching children through this fun

ebook.

IntroductionThis story follows an army of words and their journey of figuring out how to go into correct alphabetical order so they can march into battle. Use

the words and activities in this ebook to help the Captain guide his men

and women to success!

Instructions On How To Use This Ebook.

1) When you see a speech bubble (they look like the bubble in this picture)

That means what ever object the arrow on the bubble is pointing to is speaking. Read the speech bubbles on the page from left to right so you can understand the conversation.

2) On page six there is a video. Read the speech bubbles then click on the video for it to play. To stop the video just click on the video again.

3) When you see a little box with some questions, that is a short quiz. Read the questions and answers carefully and pick the answer you think is right. Make sure to click “Check Answer” at the bottom of the box to make sure your answer is correct. If it not correct, don’t worry, just try again.

This is Captain A. It is his job to make sure all of the soldiers get into their correct order

before going into battle. This next group of recruits have been having a hard time

understanding what the correct order of the line up is. That is

why Captain A needs your help to get them in their correct

order! Let’s get started, there is no time to lose!
