The way an individual or group comprehend the information being taught. 3. What is the Art of Singo? It can be valuable to students who are just learning how to read. 4. The Students Outcome Skills each student will acquire is as follows: Variations Skill-building Calling Cards Cognitive and Social Development Phonemic Awareness Sound Recognition Spelling Math Reasoning Directions 5. What is Science? Science is teaching what the learning outcome will be. 6. The Science of Singo The learning comes from playing the game with an outcome of results. 7. The Students Outcome Blends letters Recognizing upper case letters Sight words Spelling Matching Definition Reading Directions (row, diagonal lines, etc) 8. S-I-N-G-0 There is a game thats so much fun and S-I-N-G-O was its game-o S-I-N-G-O , S-I-N-G-O, S-I-N-G-O And S-I-N-G-O was the game-o. Heres the letter A : A is for apple S-I-N-G-O , S-I-N-G-O, S-I-N-G-O And S-I-N-G-O was the game-o. Heres the letter F :F is for fish S-I-N-G-O , S-I-N-G-O, S-I-N-G-O And S-I-N-G-O was the game-o. Heres the letter B : B is for ball S-I-N-G-O , S-I-N-G-O, S-I-N-G-O And S-I-N-G-O was the game-o. Heres the letter K : K is for kite S-I-N-G-O , S-I-N-G-O, S-I-N-G-O And S-I-N-G-O was the game-o. Good job everyone! 9. S I N G O C X R L M E J V Q W T 10. Students Learn through Song Pre-school children retain through repetition. Learning through song is fun, creative and entertaining. Helps engagement in the lesson and social interaction with their students. Young children create images to help with their learning as well. The science of this activity is the text, the lesson, the broad aspect of education. The art is how it is presented for the student to learn from. Songs and music should be shared with children to build learning skills ( Honig pg 26). For the infant and toddle ages Learning that two words that end in the same sound of rhymes is an achievement for young children. Learning through songs inspires young children to want to learn. ( Honig pg 26). S-I-N-G-O is an example of a learning game like B-I-N-G-O just using music , phrases, and rhymes that help them engage in learning and socializing.
